At Jessica Nicole Studio, your experience and results matter. To protect the integrity of the service and ensure clarity for both client and stylist, the following policies apply to all appointments.
JNS Studio Policies & Client Expectations
Refund Policy
All services and hair purchases are final sale.
Due to the custom nature of color and extensions, JNS does not offer refunds.
A rare discretionary partial refund may be issued only for clear technical error and must be reported within 72 hours.
Deposit & Hair Purchase Policy
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book all major services.
All extension hair must be paid in full before ordering.
Hair is non-refundable and non-transferable in all circumstances.
Extension Colour Limitations
Not all extensions can be safely lightened or balayaged.
If colouring extensions is not possible, blending is done through natural hair only.
Aftercare Responsibility
The client is responsible for proper at-home care, including:
• approved shampoo/conditioner
• heat protection
• brushing technique
• drying properly
• avoiding environmental damage
Improper aftercare voids adjustment/redo options.
Redo / Adjustment Policy
Adjustments are available within 7 days of the appointment.
This includes tone tweaks and minor blending.
The policy is void if the client has:
• traveled
• used hotel or unapproved products
• removed or altered the extensions
• exposed hair to saltwater, chlorine, or excessive heat
• used purple shampoo improperly
Requests after 7 days require a full appointment at the regular rate.
Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations within 48 hours = 50% charge
• No-shows = 100% charge
• Late arrivals (15+ minutes) may require rescheduling
Behaviour Policy
JNS reserves the right to refuse service for:
• manipulative behaviour
• repeated dissatisfaction
• boundary violations
• disrespectful communication
Future bookings may be declined if the relationship is not a good fit.
Client Approval at Checkout
Clients confirm satisfaction with colour, tone, placement, and blend before leaving.
Any changes afterward are considered a new service.
Chargebacks
Attempted chargebacks will be disputed with before/after photos, consultation notes, and signed agreements.
